David Sharkey Appointed General Manager of Princeton Marriott Hotel at Forrestal


PRINCETON, NJ (March 11, 2011)
— David Sharkey has been appointed General Manager of the Princeton Marriott Hotel at Forrestal.

Mr. Sharkey, who has been with Marriott Hotels & Resorts for 24 years, was most recently General Manager of the Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel.  He has also held management positions at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott, Hanover Marriott, Bridgewater Marriott, and New York World Trade Marriott.

"I look forward to becoming more involved in the Princeton community, and creating a greater awareness for our property and all it offers in Central Jersey.  We have garnered a strong reputation for our conference facilities, but I want to also enhance the experience for weekend guests who come to take advantage of our full-service spa, dining, and leisure facilities," notes Mr. Sharkey.

David is a New Jersey Business Council Leader and a board member of the Newark Regional Chamber of Commerce.  He he has his Masters Degree In Business Administration from Colorado State University and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army National Guard during Operations Desert Storm/Desert Shield.  He resides in Martinsville, NJ.
