BridgeStreet® Appoints Sabina Giese to Expand its European Presence


HERNDON, VA, March 2, 2011 – BridgeStreet®, the leading international provider of residences, serviced apartments and suites, today announced the appointment of Sabina Giese as Director of Development in Europe. In this newly created role, Ms. Giese is charged with expanding the company’s franchise and management programs across key European gateway cities. She will report to Max Thorne, Senior Vice President of International Development.

Giese’s background includes over 20-years of hospitality experience in a variety of development, management and sales roles. She most recently served as Director of Development for Motel One, responsible for the start-up and organization of development in Italy. Prior to that, Ms. Giese worked for Choice Hotels as Director Generale, Italy. While at Choice, she oversaw the development of new hotels for the company’s multiple brands leading to significant growth of the organization while increasing revenue for franchisees. Ms. Giese holds a degree in Humanistic Studies from the University of Salento, Italy, and a Master in Tourism Quality Management certification from the Hotel Institute of Otranto, Italy.
