Resort & Villas has revamped its sales team with the
promotion of Bahia Husband to director of group sales and the
appointment of
Barb Hildebrandt as senior sales manager. “We couldn’t be more pleased to have Bahia and Barb on board,” stated Mike Ryan, general manager of Westin St. John Resort & Villas. “Both are innovative within their roles and possess a results-driven work ethic that is an asset to the entire team.” Husband has been a member of the Westin St. John Resort & Villas’ sales team since 2009 and is responsible for soliciting and negotiating new and existing accounts to meet revenue goals, managing all group sales activities and maintaining first-rate customer service while recruiting, training and mentoring the entire sales team. Prior to joining the Westin St. John, she was with Westin Roco Ki Resort in the Dominican Republic as the director of group sales. Hildebrandt hails from Columbia Sussex Corporation in Crestview Hills, Kentucky where she served as the director of group sales for The Westin Casuarina Resort & Spa, Grand Cayman and The Westin St. Maarten Dawn Beach Resort & Spa for more than two years. She brings a wealth of hotel experience to her new role having previously worked as the director of national accounts at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, where she managed 50 top corporations and associations within Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee placing meetings into approximately 110 Hyatt hotels nationally.
