SCOTTSDALE,
DALLAS and LONDON (February 08, 2011)
– Montana’s scenic Buck’s T-4 Lodge
realized an increase of +61% during its peak season following the
implementation of Pegasus
Solutions’ NetBooker®
NG
Internet booking engine. The property also credited the tool with
helping
achieve nearly 30% occupancy and $5 rate increases coupled with a rise
in more
profitable direct bookings. Born of a 1946 hunting camp, Buck’s T-4 Lodge is known for its scenic views of pristine Montana wilderness, warm Western accommodations, award-winning cuisine, wine and legendary entertainment. Ideally situated for visitors to Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky and Moonlight Basin Ski Resorts; Buck’s is also convenient for fly-fishing and whitewater rafting in the nearby Gallatin River, made famous by the Robert Redford film “A River Runs Through It.” Before working with Pegasus, Buck’s T-4 was represented online through the online travel agencies (OTAs), as well as on its own site, www.buckst4.com. Upon implementing NetBooker NG, the hotel integrated its booking engine into the site for the first time, which had immediate impact, according to David O’Connor, managing partner of Buck’s T-4 Lodge. “After we integrated NetBooker NG into our Web site, we saw a dramatic increase in online booking. These reservations reduced the cost at the property level – lessening time on the phone and removing fees paid through other online channels,” said O’Connor. “Our net revenue and occupancy increased accordingly, as did time spent on the site following the customized design we jointly developed with the Pegasus team to enhance the user experience.” NetBooker NG offers hotels, like Buck’s T-4 Lodge, the functionality of a private-label site without the responsibilities and overhead of in-house website design, development and hosting. It combines a proven advanced booking engine with integrated Web marketing services, allowing hotels to create a site customized according to the property or brand. “NetBooker NG was developed to bring guests from your virtual doorstep to your hotel doorstep,” added Ric Leutwyler, chief operating officer of Pegasus Solutions. “The more than 60 percent revenue, $5 rate and nearly +30% occupancy increases Buck’s T-4 Lodge realized by enhancing the virtual guest experience with NetBooker NG prove the potential of this solution for hotels. We’re also thrilled to see the added benefit at Buck’s T-4 Lodge of more profitable direct bookings, which also gave staff more time and resources to deliver on the actual guest experience.” About Pegasus Solutions Inc. – Proud honoree of the InformationWeek 500, CIO 100 and InfoWorld Top 100 Pegasus Solutions is the
