Stacey Nichols Named General Manager of the
470-room Hyatt Regency Cambridge (MA)
CAMBRIDGE, MA � October 2010 � Stacey Nichols has been named general manager of the newly renovated Hyatt Regency Cambridge that boasts the largest meeting/event facilities and guest rooms among Cambridge area hotels. Most recently, Ms. Nichols was the general manager of the 301-room Hyatt Deerfield, a suburb of Chicago, IL. Nichols began her Hyatt career in 1988 at the 1,400-room Hyatt Regency DFW in the rooms division, where she worked twice during her tenure with Hyatt. Nichols also held rooms management positions at Hyatt Regency Austin and Hyatt Regency O�Hare. Subsequently, Nichols progressively held executive assistant manager positions at Hyatt Regency Albuquerque, Hyatt Regency Islandia, Hyatt Regency Phoenix, and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress resort. In addition to her work with Hyatt, Ms. Nichols has been active on various Boards of Directors (Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitor�s Bureau, Healthcare Businesswomen�s Association) and is eager to be just as involved in the Cambridge/Boston community, once she is settled. Ms. Nichols is originally from Dallas, TX and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin.
