MINNEAPOLIS and ONTARIO, Calif., Nov. 3, 2010 -- Carlson, a privately held, global hospitality and travel company, has announced the opening of the Radisson Hotel Ontario Airport in California.

The 299-room Radisson Hotel Ontario Airport was previously a Marriott. The hotel is planning to immediately begin a USD 6 million renovation to upgrade the guest rooms, restaurants, ballroom and lobby. The renovation will be done in stages to not effect daily operations, and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2012.

The Radisson Hotel Ontario Airport is directly across from the Ontario Convention Center and is less than a mile from Ontario International Airport.  The hotel features a fully-equipped health club with racquetball and basketball courts and an outdoor pool. The hotel's two restaurants include the Pacific Grille and the D Street Bar & Grill. The hotel can accommodate large events with 21,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space.
