Atlanta, Georgia – November, 2010 – Hotel Equities (www.hotelequities.com) recently celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for the 90-room Staybridge Suites, an upscale extended-stay brand from Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), in South Bend, Indiana. Located at 52860 State Road 933, it is the first Staybridge Suites hotel in the Hotel Equities portfolio.  Susan Morris-Dawson serves as the Director of Sales.

Bobbie Meganck, Regional Sales Director, Central, represented Intercontinental Hotel Group at the event and helped to cut the ceremonial ribbon. 

Hotel Equities welcomed local dignitaries including Julie Stabrowski, St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, Member Relations Manager; Maria Slager and Randall Foster, St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; Rob DeCleene, Executive Director,  South Bend/Mishawaka Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The three-story hotel is conveniently located near Notre Dame University in South Bend.   The Staybridge Suites marks the firm’s second hotel in the Midwest market.   He also manages the Hilton Garden Inn in nearby Elkhart, Indiana.
