  Meetings Media Rebrands to Meetings Focus


SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – December 20, 2010. Meetings Media, which publishes four business-to-business magazines targeting the meeting and convention planning industry, announced it will rebrand itself as Meetings Focus.
 
The company currently publishes Meetings East, Meetings MidAmerica, Meetings South and Meetings West magazines, as well as the online presence MeetingsFocus.com, educational webinars, various e-media content and live events, among other products.
 
“The rebranding of all of our products, and indeed the Meetings Media division as a whole, reflects the changing nature of publishing, in which e-media distribution channels share center stage with the print medium,” said Karen Smith, vice president, group brand solutions for Meetings Focus. “Our primary digital offering has been MeetingsFocus.com, so by reorienting our products to reflect the core brand of Meetings Focus, we are creating a family of brands that will generate greater familiarity with the consumer while also looking to a future when content delivery places an equal emphasis on Internet and video, as well as face-to-face events, as it does with our traditional print products.”

Under the rebranding, the magazines are now titled Meetings Focus East, Meetings Focus MidAmerica, Meetings Focus South and Meetings Focus West. All of the rebranding will be carried over into existing print and e-media products, such as the Meetings Focus Texas supplement, Meetings Focus Guide, Meetings Focus West  e-newsletter, Meetings Focus Live! and Meetings Focus TV.
