AG Brokers Sale of Hampton Inn & Suites,
Holly Springs, North Carolina
ATLANTA – December 13,
2010 – Hotel Assets Group, LLC (Hotel AG), announced today that the
firm sold
the Hampton Inn & Suites in Holly Springs, North Carolina on behalf
of
Viking Hospitality Fund. The 124-room hotel
sold to Apple REIT Nine for an undisclosed amount. Brad Sinclair, vice president of the firm stated, “We are pleased to have structured an advantageous transaction for both the buyer and the seller involving a well-branded hotel property in a growing market.” “This is one of many transactions Hotel AG has closed with Apple REIT and represents our firm's core business,” remarked Keith Thompson, principal of Hotel AG. “Additionally this is the third hotel Viking Hospitality has developed for sale to Apple REIT.” The Hampton Inn & Suites is the newest hotel to enter the Holly Springs market. The hotel is located on Ralph Stephens Road off the NC 55 Bypass. The Town of Holly Springs is located 15 miles south of Raleigh and 25 miles south of Durham.
