experience. The Position The Assistant Director of Sales
will provide
support to the operation of the hotel/sales department. Directly
oversee
Executive and/or Target Sales Managers and sales processes. Selectively
sell
group business in corporate and association markets in the interest of
maximizing guest rooms and food and beverage revenue focusing on
short-term
large corporate accounts.
The Ideal Candidate The
ideal candidate for this position will come from a luxury
Hotel/Resort/Convention
Center environment. Bachelor's degree in
Hospitality Management, a related discipline, or equivalent required.
Minimum of three years of hospitality sales
leadership experience preferred. Experience
in Association, Corporate, Group and Convention sales on both the
regional and
national level required. Key attributes include good communication and
project
management skills. Compensation Competitive
