Hawaii's Kona Village Resort Appoints Deaner Snively as Regional Sales Manager
| KONA, Hawaii, December, 2010 -
Kona Village Resort has appointed
Deaner Snively as Regional Sales Manager for
Kona Village Resort to Retail Travel Agents. Based in San
Francisco, Snively
will oversee territories that include Northern California, Nevada
(Reno),
Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, North and South
Dakota,
Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, Georgia, North Carolina
and
South Carolina. In addition to working with the travel agent
community,
Snively will also attend key trade shows throughout the
country. In his new role as Regional Sales Manager, he will be working with other sales team members to enhance sales efforts and new business development on behalf of Kona Village Resort. Most recently servicing the Big Island as an independent contractor to the Big Island Visitors Bureau, Snively helped develop and execute key business development initiatives to promote awareness and increase visitor traffic in Hawaii. Earlier in his career, Snively spent time with Pleasant Holidays, Apple Vacations and Sun Trips, all in sales and business development, based in Northern California.
