Choice Hotels International Opens 33 Hotels in November in 14
Silver Spring, Md. (December 16, 2010) – Choice Hotels International, Inc. (NYSE: CHH) continues to grow with the announcement of 33 newly-opened franchised properties during the month of November. The openings include hotels in 14 states and seven additional countries, adding more than 2,500 rooms to the company’s existing 490,000-plus rooms. Select properties that opened in November include:
Hotel Royal William, an Ascend Collection hotel – Quebec, Canada
As a member of the select Ascend Collection of historic, boutique and unique hotels, the Hotel Royal William is a family-owned boutique-style hotel conveniently located in the trendy New St. Rock district of downtown Quebec City. The smoke-free hotel offers a business center, exercise room, on-site restaurant, meeting rooms and valet cleaning service. Guestrooms feature free Wi-Fi, mini bars and DVD players with select rooms also featuring in-bath whirlpools and robes.
Sleep Inn – Kenner, La.
One of the first among the Sleep Inn brand to feature an entirely new refreshed modern look and feel, this Sleep Inn hotel, located four miles from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, offers free Wi-Fi, free hot breakfast, free airport transportation, meeting facilities, business center and exercise room. Guestrooms feature flat screen/Plasma TVs and pillow top mattresses with select rooms also featuring microwaves and refrigerators.
Clarion Hotel & Conference Center – Oklahoma City, Okla.
