September 30, 2010 --STILLWATER -- The Holiday Inn Express in Stillwater has a new name -- the Lexington Inn & Suites of Stillwater.

The hotel, at 2000 Washington Ave., has 58 rooms and suites, a business center, a heated indoor pool and hot tub, and a meeting facility.

Jan Burgstrom, general manager of the property, said the choice to convert to the Lexington Collection came after quite a bit of research, according to a post on hospitalitynet.org.

"We really wanted more control over our property and the freedom to choose the services and amenities that we know will meet and exceed our guests' expectations," she said in the post. "Of course, we were also looking to lower our fees without lowering our revenue, and the Lexington Collection provided all of the above."
