US General Services Administration Awards the First and Only GSA Schedule Contract for a Conference Center, Hotel or Resort to The National Conference Center, Leesburg, Virginia

LEESBURG, VA --  September 2010   Eric Whitson, Director of Sales & Marketing at The National Conference Center (NCC), recently announced that the US General Services Administration (GSA) awarded the acclaimed conference facility with the first and only GSA Schedule Contract for a conference center, hotel or resort.  A proven vendor for the federal government, The National Conference Center is the ideal venue for offsite meetings, training and educational programs, as well as for executive summits, board meetings, and sales conferences.  Government meeting planners will now have the time- and cost-saving opportunity to plan and execute meetings with a simplified one-stop-shopping convenience.

The award-winning conference center is a member of the International Association of Conference Centers and offers a Complete Meeting Package (CMP) which is designed to provide convenience and cost efficiencies by including the meeting essentials in the all-inclusive package: meeting rooms, meals and refreshment breaks, and sleeping accommodations.  The GSA, contract combined with the CMP, simplifies a complicated purchasing procedure to provide a more reasonable procurement process.

The National Conference Center also offers a Day Meeting Package (DMP) which includes a fully equipped conference room and break-out rooms, standard conference technology, buffet lunch, and continuous refreshment breaks.

NCC received a Multiple Award Schedule Contract Number GS-33F-0005W awarded in the current fiscal year for conference center services (under SIN 599 99, Introduction to New Services/Products). The contract is good for one five-year basic contract period and three five-year option periods

We are thrilled to be included on the schedule as it will help make it easier for our current and future government customers to secure our services and will highlight our award-winning, distraction-free environment to a community that is looking for an outstanding meeting destination, said Whitson.
