Linda Lynge Named Spa Director at
The Omni Bedford Springs Resort
September 21, 2010 (Bedford Springs, PA) – The Omni Bedford Springs Resort is pleased to announce the appointment of Linda Lynge as Spa Director of the world-class Springs Eternal Spa. With 15 years of management experience covering several facets of the spa industry – including design, sales and operations – Lynge is responsible for all operations of the 30,000 square-foot spa that is fed by the healing waters of the Eternal Spring, one of eight natural springs surrounding the property.
“With her spa knowledge, talent for customer service and inspired vision of what it takes to create a great spa experience, Linda will be a wonderful asset to the resort and spa goers alike,” said Scott Stuckey, General Manager of the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa. “We’re thrilled to have her overseeing the day to day spa operations as we gear up for a great fall season.”
Lynge arrives in Bedford, Pennsylvania from Colorado, where she spent a year as the Spa Director of Vail Resorts RockResorts Spa at The Lodge at Vail. Her experience in the industry runs deep. In 1990, she designed her first athletic club & spa as General Manager of the University Athletic Club in Littleton, Colorado. From there, she moved onto Las Vegas, first joining Caesars Palace for the opening of their spa as the Spa Desk Supervisor before becoming Spa Manager of Mandalay Bay and then Assistant Start-Up Manager for the opening of the Paris Spa by Mandara.
In 1999, she joined Chicago-based Lakeshore Management Group LLC. Along with being General Manager of the Spa and Fitness Club in Costa Mesa, California, she was Lakeshore’s Corporate Senior Spa Director, which saw her designing and consulting on start-up and established operations of multiple spa properties across the American West. Following her time at Lakeshore, Lynge became Spa Manager of Aspenfalls Spa at The Landmark in Greenwood Village, Colorado, before joining The Lodge at Vail in 2008.
Born in Omaha, Nebraska and raised in Maryland, Hawaii, California, Colorado, Canada, and Texas, Lynge returned to Omaha where she graduated from Patricia Stevens Business College. Now excited to be surrounded by the rolling beauty of Pennsylvania’s scenic Allegheny Mountains, she enjoys taking up her favorite pastimes including photography, history, music, competitive sports and site seeing.
