The Soon to Open Four Seasons Resort Vail
Appoints 10 Execs to Management Team

September 29, 2010 - Four Seasons Resort Vail, a 121-room luxury property to open this December in the heart of Vail Village, today announced the following new additions to the management team. Previously announced was Hans Willimann to general manager and Jason Harrison, executive chef.

Michael Volk, resort manager - Born and raised in Luxembourg, Volk joined Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 1996 in London, straight out of Lausanne Hotel School. He has worked for Four Seasons in London, Philadelphia, Berlin, Paris, Provence and Thailand (where playing elephant polo with guests was an actual part of the job description for camp manager). His wonderful background in resorts will undoubtedly be an asset to guests at Four Seasons Resort Vail.

Craig Newton, spa director - Newton has been in charge of spa operations at resorts and clubs from Colorado to Massachusetts, and he is thrilled to return to Four Seasons as spa director. His experience includes serving as spa director for Four Seasons Las Vegas. Newton was asked to serve as the keynote speaker at the International Spa Convention in London on the topic of �Opening a Spa and Getting it Right the First Time.� Newton�s expertise will ensure Four Seasons Resort Vail has a successful spa opening. 

Angie Vossler, director of catering and conference services - A native Californian and a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, Vossler is a veteran wedding and event planner in the Colorado mountain communities, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Vossler has worked for several luxury properties, most recently at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colo. She also was the founder and publisher of Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine for eight years. 

Jennifer Nicholas, senior human resources manager - Prior to accepting a position with Four Seasons, Nicholas worked in human resources at luxury resort properties in Ojai, California and Telluride, Colorado as well as The Little Nell in Aspen. 

Emilio Padilla, director of housekeeping - Padilla has served 11 years with the company, joining Four Seasons Resort Vail as his sixth property. His experience includes Four Seasons properties in Punta Mita, Mexico; Miami, Florida; Austin, Texas; Lana'i, Hawaii; and Jackson Hole, Wyoming. 

Jerome Arribas, business manager - French-born Arribas joined the former Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma in June 2004 as assistant purchasing director, then moved to Four Seasons Hotel London in August 2006 as accounting manager. In September 2008, he moved to the Seychelles to open an amazing new Four Seasons Resort, prior to joining Four Seasons Resort Vail. 

Adrian Barton, chief engineer - Originally from Ireland, Barton previously worked for the Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, and the Ritz-Carlton St. Thomas, prior to joining Four Seasons Resort Vail. 

Jose Eduardo �Eddie� Guzman, laundry manager - Another Four Seasons veteran, Guzman joins from Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita and previously, Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach. Coming from the sunny beaches of Mexico to the high altitude of the Rocky Mountains, Guzman is delighted to be laundry manager for Four Seasons Resort Vail. 

Jeff Meier, senior director of sales and marketing, Playground Destination Properties - With more than 30 years of experience selling luxury properties worldwide, Meier leads the sales team representing Four Seasons Residence Club Vail, the 19 fractional residences within the Resort. After directing real estate sales efforts from coast to coast, he has come home to Colorado, and looks forward to welcoming owners to their new vacation homes at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Vail.

Dana Gumber, Broker, Slifer Smith & Frampton � As a licensed real estate broker in Colorado with 12 years of active experience, Gumber manages sales efforts for Four Seasons Residences Vail, the 16 whole-ownership residences within the resort. Originally from Iowa, Gumber is passionate about both the Vail Valley and the lifestyle afforded to those who are lucky enough to live in the mountains.
