Hoteliers Explore Methods to Monetize Trends at Trust International
Frankfurt – July 14, 2010
– Like bees
drawn to flowers, Trust International’s 2010 Customer Advisory Board
meeting
(CAB), an invitation only event for Trust customers and industry
partners,
attracted more than 70 hoteliers and distribution and technology
partners in
Frankfurt to drink in the sweet nectar of hotel distribution
intelligence and
carry it back to the “hive” to create more productive and profitable
enterprises. Trust’s Customer Advisory
Board event has become one of its hallmarks and a key customer benefit,
bringing customers together to discuss emerging trends, market needs,
hotelier
preferences and desires, and explore new products and services, as well
as
influence those currently in development.
“The Advisory Board meeting is a ‘must attend’ event for us,” said Linda Baldera, Corporate Revenue & Distribution, Starhotels. “We came back from the event with new ways to improve our productivity and with insights on trends that enable us to tweak our marketing and distribution efforts to incrementally increase revenues. We got great insights on online travel trends and emerging technologies, especially in the area of mobile, that has our marketing department buzzing. TVtrip’s presentation on hotel videos really got us thinking about how video can impact conversion rates and ways we should consider integrating it to get a leg up on our competition.” Featured sessions included the following topics:
The event has served as the catalyst for many new Trust International products and services that have helped build Trust’s reputation as an ultra-responsive CRS that delivers products that are attuned to the nuances of customers needs while driving bottom line results. “Our Customer Advisory Board is a very important forum for us for feedback on products and services,” said Nigel Russell, Senior Director Product Development of Trust International. “It provides us the opportunity to get customer opinions on features we’re developing and, since the customers are using our products every day, we get tremendous new ideas from them on how to improve.” He noted, “It is very gratifying to witness customers’ reactions when they see their suggestions integrated into our new products in a very short time span. They feel as if we’re custom designing our products for them – and, indeed, we are.” About Trust International Hotel Reservation Services GmbH Trust International is one of the world’s leading CRS providers and international hospitality partners.
