August 16, 2010 - Westport, CT � Hay Creek Hospitality announced today that after an extensive search, they have been selected by Ethan Allen as the management company for the upscale full service Ethan Allen Hotel located adjacent to Ethan Allen International headquarters in Danbury, Connecticut. Hay Creek will oversee the daily operations of the property and will work with Ethan Allen to plan the restoration and repositioning of the hotel.

Hay Creek Hospitality is recognized for its excellence in managing full service, independent upscale inns hotels and resorts as well as for its creative and impressive renovations of special and unique properties.

The implementation of The Hay Creek System� will provide the Ethan Allen Hotel with the benefit of large property technology, infrastructure and support that are cost and scale appropriate for a smaller independent property.

Examples of other Hay Creek managed properties include the Exeter Inn (located on Philips Exeter Academy campus), the Centennial Hotel and the Wolfeboro Inn, each located in New Hampshire, and the Orchards Hotel in Williamstown, MA.

The Ethan Allen Hotel blends the attentive service and quality of a boutique hotel with the high-tech sophistication of a large conference center. It has 195 elegant rooms and suites and more than 15,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel regularly hosts a wide range of conferences, retreats, weddings, and seminars.

Planned renovations of the Ethan Allen Hotel will ultimately feature a freestanding restaurant, which is a signature item for the Hay Creek family of hotels. The hotel currently offers Fairfield�s Restaurant and Lounge, a favorite of area residents since 1974.

The renovated Ethan Allen Hotel will also serve as a corporate showcase for Ethan Allen Contract products. The newly launched Ethan Allen Contract Division offers hospitality and commercial clients product design, interior design, product customization, sourcing, manufacturing, delivery, and installation building on the foundation of the company's longstanding residential design
