of the Former Crown Princess to the 540-guest room, 34-storey

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - August 6, 2010 - Hilton Worldwide today proudly announced the opening of its first Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Southeast Asia. Celebrated during a special commemoration ceremony amidst hundreds of civic officials, business leaders and company executives last night, the 540-guest room, 34-storey Doubletree by Hilton, Kuala Lumpur rises high in the skyline of Malaysia�s capital city within Kuala Lumpur's Golden Triangle district, just northeast of KL City Centre. Positioned along the prestigious Jalan Ampang at the Jalan Tun Razak crossing in what is known as Embassy Row, the Doubletree by Hilton, Kuala Lumpur serves as a convenient gateway for all that Kuala Lumpur has to offer. Within steps of this newly transformed (formerly the Crown Princess Kuala Lumpur) upscale hotel, the city's best shopping malls, dining, entertainment, the world-famous Petronas Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre can be easily explored.

Description 
Located 500 metres from Petronas Twin Towers, The Intermark is a mixed use development comprising two grade A office buildings, an international hotel and a retail podium with a total gross floor area approximating 2.5 million ft². 

Phase 1 of the development includes the complete refurbishment of the retail podium and Vista Tower, one of the tallest buildings in Malaysia, (formerly known as City Square and Empire Tower respectively), as well as the introduction of the first Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Southeast Asia in place of the former Crown Princess hotel.

Phase 2 includes the redevelopment of the former adjacent retail site where Plaza Ampang once stood into Integra Tower, a brand new 39 storey sustainable design office tower scheduled for completion in 2012. www.theintermark.com

Managed by Hilton Worldwide, the Doubletree by Hilton, Kuala Lumpur is owned by MGPA Asia Fund II and is part of a world class integrated property called The Intermark. Besides the hotel, The Intermark also has on site a Retail Podium, and a grade A office tower. Another new office building, which has been awarded Platinum LEED pre-certification, is scheduled for completion in 2012.
