AHLEI Partners with Safety Source to Offer Training Videos
Now Availailable - Bed Bugs: Facts & Prevention and
Sexual Harassment: What Managers Need to Know
Orlando, Florida, August 2010 � The American Hotel &
Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI) has partnered with Safety Source
Productions to offer two new training videos on important topics for all
hospitality operations�bed bugs and sexual harassment.
Based in Southern California, Safety Source Productions delivers video training programs, e-learning, and interactive training for dozens of industries, including hospitality. Bed Bugs: Facts & Prevention is a 12-minute DVD developed to meet the training needs of housekeepers, maintenance employees, and property managers. The program raises awareness of this critical issue and provides information to help employees, detect, manage, and prevent bed bug infestations. The DVD is available for $180.00 for AH&LA member and $225.00 for nonmembers. Sexual Harassment: What Managers Need to Know is an 18-minute DVD directed to human resource managers and other managers who receive reports of sexual harassment incidents or those who may be in a position to prevent or respond to such incidents. The program includes information on promoting an environment that prevents sexual harassment, procedures for dealing with sexual harassment complaints, appropriate actions to investigate and resolve sexual harassment claims, and interview strategies for claimants and those accused.
