Inland American Lodging & Alliance Hospitality Open 130-room Aloft Chapel Hill,
Adjacent to the University of North Carolina Campus

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--May 14, 2010--Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. (NYSE: HOT), Inland American Lodging Corporation and Alliance Hospitality Management LLC today announce the opening of Aloft Chapel Hill. The 40th Aloft hotel worldwide, this brand new destination sensation introduces style at a steal to Chapel Hill and the Research Triangle Park with 130 spacious, loft-like rooms, 1,600 square feet of meeting space, intuitive and accessible technology and a hip, social atmosphere.
