 Amadeus Showcases Hotel IT Commitment at HITEC 2010

MIAMI, June 18, 2010 – Amadeus, a leading travel technology partner and transaction processor for the global travel and tourism industry, will present experts and educational sessions next week at HITEC 2010 in Orlando, reinforcing its commitment to the hospitality marketplace in North America.

Stephen Puente, Technology Fundamentals v2.0 Roundtable Leader – Stephen Puente, manager of hotel IT business development for Amadeus, will lead a roundtable discussion on what to look for when moving core IT services “into the cloud.” Participants will also address mobile service solutions, service tracking systems and multimedia connectivity.

Amadeus Industry Forum – Amadeus will present its new white paper, “Invent the Future – the New Normal for Hotels in 2010 and Beyond.” Author John Burns, president of Hospitality Technology Consulting, will lead an expert panel that includes Mike Blake, CIO, Hyatt Hotels Corporation, and St. John Murphy from Keane Consulting Group, in a discussion about key business and technology trends shaping the hotel business. Panelists will be joined by Amadeus co-hosts Jérôme Destors and Vic Pynn for a Q&A session. 
 
Tuesday, June 22 – Thursday, June 24, 10:00 a.m. until exhibits close
 
Amadeus Booth – visit Amadeus’ booth, number 537 on the HITEC show floor, for information and demonstrations of the latest Amadeus hospitality products and solutions, including the Amadeus Hotel Platform.
