The Rainmaker Group Hosts Workshop at Singapore Travel Summit
 
Workshop will Focus on Resort Revenue Management to Optimize Total Customer Value


ATLANTA and SINGAPORE – April 26, 2010 The Rainmaker Group, a world leader in automated profit optimization software and services for the global hospitality industry, announced it will host a workshop on resort total property profit optimization at the EyeforTravel Asia 2010 Travel Distribution Summit in Singapore April 28 – 29.

“Resorts with multiple profit centers must effectively leverage revenue management to optimize income from every area of their operation, not just rooms, to maximize profitability,” said Vivek Bhalla, managing director Asia Pacific with The Rainmaker Group. “Accurately forecasting total customer value for each area of a resort is essential when determining room rates and availability.” The workshop will look at ways to achieve this and offer practical techniques to implement revenue management in resorts. The session is scheduled to begin at 2pm on April 29.

The Rainmaker Group will also discuss revenue management and ancillary revenue stream strategies at a panel titled, “MICE, Spa and F&B Revenue Management.” The panel is scheduled for 3:30 pm on April 29.
