Veteran Hotel Real Estate Executive Mark Rousseau
Joins Molinaro Koger

 

Atlanta, Georgia – April 6, 2010 – Molinaro Koger (MK) announced today that Mark Rousseau, formerly President of Real Estate for Hardage Suite Hotels, has joined Molinaro Koger’s brokerage team as Senior Vice President.  One of the hospitality industry’s most accomplished real estate executives, Mr. Rousseau is based at the firm’s Atlanta office.

“Mark is a truly exceptional addition to Molinaro Koger,” said Robert T. Koger, President of Molinaro Koger, in making the announcement. 

“His extensive accomplishments acquiring and developing hospitality real estate projects will considerably benefit our clients and assist them in achieving their investment goals. Prior to joining Molinaro Koger, Mr. Rousseau served as President of Hardage Suite Hotels, the real estate ownership and development arm of the Woodfin Suite and Chase Suite hotel brands. In this capacity, Mr. Rousseau created and implemented all real estate and brand strategy. Under his direction Hardage Suite Hotels completed a major refinancing, restructuring, and repositioning of its portfolio, which included expansion of the upscale, full-service suite hotel product through ground-up development funded by the company, in conjunction with joint venture partners, and via franchise relationships.

Although he agrees that some might view the current environment as an inauspicious time to enter the brokerage business, Mr. Rousseau takes a strongly contrarian view.
