Management Systems Ltd. (EasyRMS) has
secured another property from within Radisson
Blu Hotels & Resorts - part of the Rezidor
Hotel Group, which currently operates over 160 hotels in Europe,
the Middle
East and Africa. The Radisson Blu Martinez Hotel, in Beirut, Lebanon, offers guests a health club and indoor pool, a fine dining restaurant, free high-speed access throughout the property and four excellent meeting rooms fully equipped with the latest in conference technology. In November the hotel signed an agreement to implement the EzRMS™ Core Module and Ez-QUOTE™, as well as the extraction interface to Opera PMS. Nizam Bou Antoun, General Manager, says the biggest benefits he expects to see are that EzRMS™ will save his team time, will provide accurate and recent information, and will increase the hotel’s revenue. He believes the system will help the business achieve more accurate forecasts and have more control over their inventory, length of stay controls and rate restrictions. “I look forward to the system’s ability to suggest best strategies to be used for long and short time periods, and to give us historical analyses. This is an excellent reference,” says Nizam. Previously the property had no Revenue Management System in place, so their processes for this discipline will change dramatically. “I think the biggest difference EzRMS™ will make to our hotel is that it will allow us to see our revenue opportunity days well in advance, and be able to get the best strategy for the upcoming year,” he continues. Clive Taylor, EasyRMS Vice President - Operations, comments of the new contract: “Over the past few years we have worked together with a number of Radisson Blu Hotels in Europe and the Middle East. After an initial contact with the Head Office in the region, following the benefits gained from using EzRMS™ in the Dubai properties, we were very pleased to highlight to the hotel the costs and benefits of implementing our solution.” Within a short period of time the contract was signed, and initial implementation began. “We are now looking forward to commencing training in the near future,” states Clive.
