COVINGTON, Ky., April 27, 2010 -- Covington, KY based Commonwealth Hotels has been awarded the management contracts for the 91-suite Homewood Suites by Hilton – Lexington-Hamburg and the 127-room Hyatt Place - Lexington. The select service hotels located in Lexington, KY become the seventeenth Hilton Family and fifth Hyatt Family properties to be managed by Commonwealth Hotels. "We are excited about the opportunity to improve the operations of the Homewood Suites and Hyatt Place Lexington," said Dan Fay, President of Commonwealth. "I am confident our team will enhance value for the hotels' owners by improving revenues and controlling costs." Located at the interchange of I-75 and Man O War Blvd. in Lexington, the hotels are well located for both business and leisure travelers.
