Miraval Arizona Selects Comprehensive Solution Suite from Agilysys

Resort Implements Property Management, 
Point-of-Sale, Guest Marketing Systems


CLEVELAND � April 7, 2010 � Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, has announced that Miraval Arizona, the top-rated destination spa resort located in Tucson, has selected the Visual One� property management system and the InfoGenesis� POS system, both by Agilysys, to streamline operations and enhance guest service. The 118-room property will also use the Guest eMarketing (GeM) solution by Agilysys to generate direct revenue opportunities with guests.

�The Visual One suite is exactly what we needed, with retail POS, sales & catering and spa modules that are fully integrated with the property management system,� said Todd Wade, corporate director of information technology for Miraval Resorts. �The InfoGenesis POS system, which combines an accessible user interface with flexible configuration, is also tightly integrated with the Visual One property management system. The result is a software suite that works together to help us manage day-to-day operations more efficiently and provide seamless guest service.�

The Visual One property management system is a comprehensive and fully integrated property management solution that offers a wide range of features and functionality, including front office operations, guest history, housekeeping, reservations management and more. Miraval Arizona will use the Visual One Activities Module to schedule and manage the resort�s amenities; the Visual One Club Management System to create and monitor memberships in its loyalty program, Authentic Circle; and the Visual One Retail POS System to manage the property�s retail outlets. The resort will also use the Visual One Sales & Catering Module to manage conference and banquet operations; the Visual One Spa Management System to track spa employee work schedules, make spa appointments and send e-mail confirmations to spa guests; and the Visual One Web Reservations Module to enable guests to book rooms online.

The InfoGenesis POS system is an award-winning point-of-sale software solution that combines powerful reporting and configuration capabilities in the back office with an easy-to-use touch-screen terminal application. Designed for multi-unit operations common in hospitality environments, the system can manage any combination of dining, bar, room service and gift shop operations. Features of the InfoGenesis POS solution include real-time reporting capabilities, audit log and electronic journal, multi-language capability, packages and prix fixe menus, signature capture and advanced sorting, filtering and grouping options.

The Guest eMarketing solution (GeM) by Agilysys is a feature-rich guest correspondence and marketing management solution that enables properties to create cost-effective and highly personalized e-mail campaigns. With GeM, Miraval Arizona can send promotional offers, reminders, newsletters and surveys and obtain data that leads to improved performance.
