Personality Hotels Appoints Marilyn Perry as National
Sales Director
 SAN FRANCISCO, CA – January 5, 2010 - Personality
Hotels, San Francisco’s largest privately-owned boutique hotel
operator, has hired Marilyn Perry as the National Sales Director for
their collection of seven San Francisco boutique hotels. In her new
position, Perry is in charge of implementing and overseeing successful
sales strategies that result in increased exposure and revenue for the
hotel collection. Perry brings more than 15 years of sales and hospitality experience to Personality Hotels. Her hospitality career began at The Fairmont Dallas where she gained comprehensive hotel experience through her extensive training in each department. Utilizing this experience, Perry went on to become National Sales Manager at Hilton Hotels Worldwide, followed by her position as Corporate Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency DFW. Most recently, she was the Regional Director of Sales for Marin Management, Inc. where she was responsible for the sales and marketing of eight hotel properties. Her diverse geographical background includes experience working in London, Texas, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, and even volunteering her time at several medical clinics throughout South America. “We are thrilled to welcome Marilyn to the Personality Hotels team,” says Personality Hotels’ President and CEO Yvonne Lembi-Detert. “Her wealth of professional knowledge and experience in the hospitality industry are huge assets to Personality Hotels as we head into the New Year with a bright outlook.” Perry holds a Bachelor of Science in Restaurant, Hotel, & Institutional Management from Texas Tech University. She resides in San Francisco.
