Cabos, Mexico (February 23, 2010) – Bringing with her a
comprehensive
background in a variety of organic spa therapies and alternative
medicine, Margarita Valderrama was recently
appointed Spa Director of the newly re-envisioned Spa Marquis.
The spa, Los Cabos’ only member of Leading
Spas of the World, now offers a wide variety of both traditional
holistic and alternative
treatments using products derived from Mother Earth’s vital elements –
clay,
salt, essential oils, seaweed and herbal medicine among others. Valderrama has developed new gourmet treatment packages which highlight the union of the five elements – earth, water, fire, metal and wood. Included are 80-minute Café Ole, Chocolate and Grapes Experiences that begin with an exfoliation of natural sugar or salt followed by a body cocoon of the respective therapeutic ingredient. An Aphrodisiacs Experience (80 min/$390) performed in-suite, anti-aging “Queen of Hungary” Experience and Aromatic & Therapeutic Experience (both 80 min/$180) top off the menu.  Valderrama joins Spa Marquis after most
recently serving 10 years as Spa Director of the Serenity Medical Spa
in San
José del Cabo. She has also been a
consultant for the Institute of Investigation in Medical Aesthetic,
Nutrition &
Anti-Aging in Morelos, Mexico in addition to several other
health and skin care departments of Los Cabos’ spas. A member of
the Well Being Integral Center,
S.C., Valderrama gives myriad seminars and conferences on alternative
medicine
and body work technique; personal development, feminine energy, Reiki
and
spiritual sexuality, and many other aspects of wellness.

School in Barcelona,
Center of Well Being of Dr. Deepak Chopra in San Diego,
