Kevin Schwab Named Vice President and General Manager
of the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino
ARUBA � December 1, 2009 � Kevin Schwab has been named Vice President and General Manager of the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino as well as Marriott�s Aruba Ocean Club and Marriott�s Aruba Surf Club, both Marriott Vacation Club properties. Boasting decades in the hospitality industry, Schwab brings luxury experience, deep familiarization with Marriott and new energy to the properties. As VP and General Manager of the Aruba Marriott, Schwab will oversee day-to-day physical and financial operations of the property, as well as developing and implementing service-training programs. He is dedicated to maintaining the resort�s reputation for high service standards. �I�m ready and eager to enter this new chapter of my career,� said Schwab. �Aruba Marriott is a highly respected and outstanding Caribbean resort. His experience includes ten years as a General Manager at luxury properties that include the Ritz Carlton, San Juan and JW Marriott Hotel Mexico City. He has been honored with prestigious awards such as �Executive Chef of the Year� and �Manager of the Year� and has contributed to several hotel openings and takeovers including Marriott resorts in Argentina, Venezuela, Peru and Puerto Rico. Schwab�s immeasurable experience and expertise working with high-end, service-oriented properties make him the perfect complement to the team at the Aruba Marriott Resort. Also a steward and valuable asset to his community, Schwab and his wife Nadine enjoy doing volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity and giving back to the community around them.
