Three Oaks Hospitality Bucks the Trend by
Adding New Golf Club Management Arm

Golf Operations veteran Greg French will head up new division

(Boca Raton, FL) – September 30, 2009 - Florida’s Three Oaks Hospitality, a highly respected club membership consulting company, is demonstrating its faith in the economic upturn by adding a new division specializing in golf club management.

Greg French, formerly vice president of golf operations for Benchmark Golf, has joined principals Michael Padden and Eric Stephenson to run the new operation.

Three Oaks has built its reputation in private club management through consulting with and creating innovative programs to expand and increase membership revenues.

“At a time when the economy had caused a severe blow to the golf club business, we searched out the leading experts in the field of membership programs, and found Three Oaks Hospitality,” said Joe Steranka, CEO of the PGA of America.

“With our guidance, Three Oaks developed a new membership plan for PGA and executed it flawlessly,” he said.

In addition to the PGA of America, Three Oaks’ clients have included such renowned clubs as La Quinta, The Woodlands, The Registry, PGA National, Puntacana and Kiawah Island.

French will create golf club management division

French, a PGA professional for 25 years, comes to Three Oaks directly from his position as vice president of golf operations at Benchmark Hospitality International, headquartered at The Woodlands, Texas.

“We are excited to have Greg French joining us at Three Oaks,” said Michael Padden, President.  “Having worked with him in joint ventures with Benchmark, we are intimately aware of his innovative and forward thinking ideas, as well as his solid professionalism in managing both golf and club operations.”
