McKibbon Hotel Management Promotes Randy Hassen and
Bruce Baerwalde to Senior Vice President of Operations

(TAMPA, FL – 09/23/09) McKibbon Hotel Management,
Inc. of Tampa, Florida today announced the promotions of Randy Hassen
and Bruce Baerwalde to Senior Vice President of Operations for the
company. In their new roles, Hassen and Baerwalde will assume
responsibility for the daily operations of the management company,
reporting directly to Vann Herring, President and Chief Executive
Officer.  Randy Hassen joined McKibbon in 1991 as a Houseman
at the Courtyard by
Marriott in Athens, Georgia. He progressed through a variety of
positions of responsibility at the hotel, and accepted his first
General Manager assignment as the opening GM of the Courtyard by
Marriott Tampa North in 1995, where he was awarded General Manager of
the Year honors from Marriott International. In 1998, he went on
to open a second hotel, the Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Downtown.
Randy was promoted to Director of Operations in 2000, and Vice
President of Operations in 2007. In his new role, Randy will
assume responsibility for supervision of 31 hotels in the company
portfolio, organized by geographic location and ownership group.  Bruce Baerwalde joined McKibbon in 1996 as the opening
General Manager
of the Courtyard by Marriott in Gainesville, Florida. The
following year in 1997, he moved to the Residence Inn by Marriott
brand, serving as opening General Manager of the Residence Inn by
Marriott Tampa North, which was awarded Opening Hotel of the Year by
Marriott International. In 1998, Bruce moved on to open the
Courtyard by Marriott Maitland/Orlando, and was recognized by Marriott
as Opening General Manager of the Year for his efforts. Bruce was
promoted to Director of Operations in 2000, and Vice President of
Operations in 2007. In his new role, Bruce will assume
responsibility for supervision of 31 hotels in the company portfolio,
