Ramirez Organization Opens a $12 million 152-room
Holiday Inn Express in Guadalajara, Mexico
GUADALAJARA, Mexico – 21 September 2009 - IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) and the investor group Ramirez Organization, announce the opening of the Holiday Inn Express Guadalajara Expo, one of 24 hotels in Mexico to feature the brand’s new sign as part of the Holiday Inn brand relaunch.
Located in Ave. Mariano Otero 2397, in the traditional shopping area of Guadalajara, the hotel is just steps from the Plaza del Sol Mall and the Guadalajara Expo and a short drive from the El Salto Industrial Zone.
The $12 million new-build hotel was built in a modern avant-garde design, notable for its large glass structure and large panoramic elevators that make it one of the most attractive buildings in the Expo Area. It has 152 spacious rooms, including 12 suites, 88 double rooms and 52 king rooms. The hotel also features a gym, covered parking and a heated pool.
