NEW YORK – September 21, 2009 – The Roosevelt Hotel in Midtown Manhattan recently announced the promotion of Elio Arrabito to director of international sales. Arrabito has been with The Roosevelt Hotel for more than six years and will now be responsible for overall international inbound sales efforts for the 1,015-room property. “Considering Mr. Arrabito’s expertise within the international sales market, his extensive background and the respect and admiration from his peers, the decision to promote him was a very easy one for me,” said Kevin Croke, director of sales and marketing for The Roosevelt Hotel. Further adding to his accomplishments, Arrabito was recognized in 2008 by the Receptive Services Association as the top hotel sales person in the country and was also awarded both manager of the quarter and manager of the year for The Roosevelt Hotel. Prior to joining The Roosevelt Hotel team, he held the position of senior sales manager for the Hotel Pennsylvania, director of sales for Hampshire Hotels and Resorts and director of operations for Americascope Tour Services.
