Houston’s Hotel Sorella, debuting
in mid-August 2009, is the first hotel in the United States to install
TeleAdapt’s MediaHub HD, which was launched at HITEC last month.
The panel leads the way for personalized
in-room entertainment by incorporating stereo Bluetooth technology.
Hotel Sorella guests will have the capability of wirelessly streaming audio from an iPhone (including the new iPhone OS 3.0), iPod Touch or other A2DP-enabled computers or smart phones, such as the Palm Pre and Nokia N97, through the hotel’s flat screen HDTV speakers without leaving the device tied to the connectivity panel. In addition to this in-room technology advancement, the entertainment panel will allow travelers the ability to move and experience music, photos, videos and other multi-media content from their own personal portable electronics devices to the big screen with a single multi-media cable.
