News for the Hospitality Executive |
VScape will streamline the storage and management of hotel visual content and distribute it consistently and in a timely manner to the broadest number of websites, including all four GDSs, Pegasus and travel-related channels including online travel agencies, travel research and supplier web sites, search portals and major travel intermediaries. Further, VScape is integrated with the Preferred Hotel Group’s digital library, so that the visual content housed there is always current and consistent with what the hotel members have in VScape. It allows registered users to quickly select the property they are seeking visual content for and download approved images for use in marketing collateral to satisfy internal and external requests. “At Preferred, we’re all about driving results by providing our hotels and resorts worldwide with high-performance sales, marketing and technology solutions,” states Michelle Woodley, Senior VP Global Marketing Strategy, Preferred Hotel Group. “By working with VFM Leonardo, we’re providing our hotels with a very powerful tool – VScape. Its flexibility, integrated features and extensive distribution network should help them achieve greater results and drive more bookings through online channels.” As part of the agreement, Preferred has also chosen VFM Leonardo's VBrochure product as the exclusive method for its member hotels to distribute richer forms of media including virtual tours, video, flash, interactive maps and pdf documents. Through VBrochure's integration with VScape, individual hotels will be able to supplement their still image distribution by adding more and/or richer forms of media. They will also be able to view reports on where and how often their visual content is being viewed among many other significant features. Member hotels can take advantage of the VBrochure Online Merchandising System immediately and can find further information here. “We are confident that VScape and VBrochure
will prove to be extremely valuable tools for the Preferred Hotel
Group. Visual content, especially rich media, is proven to drive
reservations through online channels and with such prestigious member
hotels, it’s crucial for Preferred to have robust systems in place to
efficiently deliver their visual content to the maximum number of
online channels and websites with accuracy and consistency,” states
Paolo Boni, President and CEO, VFM Leonardo.
