The Woodlands (Houston), Texas, August 2009 … Benchmark Hospitality International has announced the appointment of Jill Hare-Lewandowski as director of sales for Eaglewood Resort & Spa of Itasca, Illinois, near Chicago. Charles Reese, Benchmark’s general manager at the resort, made the announcement. “I’m happy to welcome Jill to our award-winning resort,” said Mr. Reece. “She brings significant experience in the Chicagoland group meetings market to her new role. We’re so pleased to have her as part of our professional sales team.” Previous to joining Eaglewood Resort & Spa, Jill Hare-Lewandowski was director of group sales & catering for the Sheraton Chicago Northwest, located in Arlington Heights, Illinois. During her six years with this property Ms. Lewandowski held a number of sales positions of increasing responsibility, including serving as director of sales, and associate director of sales. Ms. Lewandowski has also held the title of director of group sales for both the Radisson Arlington Heights and Radisson Schaumburg Hotels, both in the Chicagoland area. For three years, Ms. Lewandowski was employed by Helms Briscoe, the meeting planning company based in Scottsdale, Arizona, serving as regional manager. She resides in Cary, Illinois.
