Jean-Sébastien Kling to Oversee Re-Branding of Hilton Maldives / Iru Fushi Resort & Spa,
Named as General Manager

June 2009 The Hilton Maldives / Iru Fushi Resort & Spa has appointed Jean-Sébastien Kling as General Manager, responsible for overseeing the re-branding of the luxurious Maldivian resort.
 
With almost 20 years of experience within the hospitality sector, Jean-Sebastien brings with him a wealth of knowledge, giving him  more than the necessary elements to manage this exciting newly-branded Hilton resort. Most recently manager at the Conrad Istanbul, Turkey, Jean-Sebastien has had a fruitful career within the luxury hotel chain since joining in 1996.
 
Commenting on the appointment Carsten Schieck, Regional Manager Maldives said “Hilton Hotels Corporation prides itself on providing a world-leading experience and we are confident that Jean-Sebastien’s global industry credentials will prove invaluable as we further develop The Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi Resort & Spa, the newest member of the Hilton family in the Maldives.”
 
The resort, set to re-brand on 1st July is sprawled over 52 acres of powdery white beach and abundant tropical vegetation. The Hilton Maldives Iru Fushi Resort & Spa is discreetly tucked away on a private island within the pristine Noonu Atoll and is accessible by a 45 minute seaplane ride from Malé.
 
With four stunning restaurants, three bars, an over-water Wine Cellar and unlimited tailor-made private dining options, the resort offers a multitude of dining experiences to suit every taste. Jean-Sebastien’s extensive and world-wide restaurant experience, including his role as Hilton Hotels Regional Director of Food and Beverage, Europe, Africa, UK and Ireland, make him a perfect compliment to this truly fine-dining resort.
