Family Caught with 63 Towels from Sheraton Moriah Eilat Hotel:
"We didn't steal - we just took the towels like everyone else."
Globes, Tel Aviv, IsraelMcClatchy-Tribune Regional News

August 10, 2009 - A family has been caught after vacationing at an Eilat hotel with no less than 63 towels and 370 bags of Elite coffee. The theft might never have been discovered had not police arrived at the family's home in the middle of the night, a few hours after the family returned home, on suspicion that drugs were concealed in the house.

"I didn't steal the towels and coffee. I took them like everyone else who returns from a stay at a hotel," the mother of the family was quoted as saying by Hebrew daily "Yediot Ahronot".

The Sheraton Moriah Eilat Hotel did not notice that the towels were missing. It is believed that they were taken from a supplies closet.
