The ProHost® Housekeeping System Has Been Selected
for the 517 room W Fort Lauderdale

May 20, 2009— Hostar International, Inc. is pleased to announce that the recently opened W Fort Lauderdale chose the Invisible Housekeeping® System for their housekeeping operations.                                        

The W Fort Lauderdale is a 517 room luxury resort located on Florida's Gold Coast and close to Millionaire's Row.  This property features panoramic views of the Sunshine, State's best surf, sand and sea.  

Fort Lauderdale is sometimes known as the "Venice of America” because of its expansive and intricate canal system. Fort Lauderdale and the surrounding area host over 4100 restaurants and 120 nightclubs.
 
The Invisible Housekeeping® system was chosen because it enables large scale hotels to create a boutique type feel for their property.  This system maintains a “cartless appearance” in the guestroom corridors while providing room attendants with a tool to significantly improve productivity and guest room quality.  Each room attendant is provided with an ergonomic work station called the Handy Supplier which is sized to go inside the guestroom.  Each Handy Supplier carries a precise mix of linen, terry and amenities designed to go into the guestrooms during the room cleaning process.  Additional Linen and terry are held in reserve units that replace the traditional static shelving required in hotels without a ProHost® System. The ProHost® equipment enables room attendants to have access to a full day of supplies at all times while reducing the need for premium back of the house space.  An evening team restocks the Handy Suppliers and Reserve Units enabling the room attendants to start their shift with all the necessary linen and supplies needed to complete their assignment.  Room attendants are able to focus more time on room cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
