| ATLANTA,
GA, May 21, 2009—Hospitality Ventures, LLC, a privately owned
hotel ownership and management firm headquartered in Atlanta,
today announced that it has named Linda J. Snell, CHA, as Regional
Director of
Sales of the Gateway Centre Hotel Complex in Rocky Mount, NC.
Operated by Hospitality Ventures, the Gateway Hotel Centre Complex is
comprised
of the Gateway Convention Center and four
hotels—Doubletree, Courtyard by Marriott, Comfort Inn, and Residence
Inn by
Marriott. In her new position, Snell
heads up a team of five sales professionals who are responsible for the
overall
sales efforts for the convention center and four hotels. Snell brings over 33 years of hospitality industry sales and marketing experience to her new position. Most recently, she served as General Manager of the Doubletree Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn Gateway Centre) for nine years and General Manager of the Comfort Inn Gateway Centre for two years. In her new position, Snell will continue to work out of the Doubletree Hotel. Active in the Rocky Mount business community, Snell currently serves on the boards of directors of the Rocky Mount Rotary Club and Nash County Visitors Bureau. She also is Chairwoman of the Bureau’s Marketing Committee.
