“Businesses are reaching out more and more for expert advice on the development, design, installation, and ongoing support of their kiosk and interactive signage projects and we are excited to be in a position to add DDD to our portfolio of offerings.” said Shawn Thomas, Co-Founder and CEO of Uniguest™.  “Jeff Pennington, Founder of DDD, and his team bring to Uniguest the type of experience and passion that is essential as we expand our new interactive signage division.”

With the acquisition, Uniguest expects to immediately add five full-time employees. It also brings Uniguest’s client list to over 2,500 customers and 4,000 self-serve kiosks under management. In fact, odds are that most travelers have used a self-service kiosk managed by Uniguest while staying in any major hotel brand throughout the U.S.

“DDD has been a successful niche digital signage company specializing in solutions for restaurants in the Nashville area,” states Jeff Pennington, Uniguest’s new Director of Business Development – Interactive Signage. “As we looked to expand nationally, our immediate thought was to partner with someone. That is where we found a perfect fit with Uniguest. Uniguest’s national presence in the hospitality industry is already there. By adding our product line it helps both our customers by them being able to turn to one company to add value to their business.”

Uniguest will be showcasing their products and services at HITEC 2009 in Anaheim, California on June 22-26 at Booth 806.
