Randall King Promoted to Vice President of Marketing &
Revenue Development for Dow Hotel Company

SEATTLE, June 22, 2009 � The Dow Hotel Company, LLC, (DHC) a hotel ownership, investment and management company, today announced the promotion of Randall King to vice president of marketing & revenue development.  In his new role, King will develop and implement standards through all electronic, branded and independent reservation and on-line channels to optimize revenue management and marketing opportunities.  In addition, he will provide property level support and oversight.

�Every hotel we take over is distressed in some form or another, regardless of the phase of the cycle,�  said Murray Dow, president of The Dow Hotel Company.  �Each property we add to our portfolio needs an almost instant infusion of marketing expertise that helps set it apart from its competitive set.

�Randall has extensive sales and marketing knowledge, as well as all facets of hotel operations experience,� he noted.   �As an industry, we still are in the beginning phases of harnessing the full power of the Web and social media, which continue to evolve rapidly.  With more than 25 years of hospitality industry expertise at the property, regional and executive levels, he has the vision and hands-on experience to assist our luxury, upper-upscale branded and independent hotels and resorts achieve RevPAR premiums in their respective markets.  He utilizes unique positioning strategies, creative promotions, and the full palette of traditional and cutting-edge marketing tools, combined with highly targeted sales and marketing strategies and techniques.   He adds further bench strength to our executive management team to support our planned future growth objectives in ownership and third-party management.� 

Prior to joining DHC�s corporate office in 2007, King was the general manager and regional director of operations at the Hilton San Francisco Financial District.  He also oversaw the sales efforts of Indian Lakes Resort and three golf courses as the general manager at The Nordic Hills Resort in Illinois.  In addition, he was the district director of sales and marketing for 13 full-service, multi-branded properties with American General Hospitality.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from Western Michigan University.
