 Wyndham Hotels and Resorts Appoints Roger Swadish General Manager
for Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino

NASSAU, Bahamas (June 17, 2009) – Wyndham Hotels and Resorts today announced the appointment of Roger Swadish as general manager of the 559-room Wyndham Nassau Resort & Crystal Palace Casino.

With more than 30 years of hospitality management experience, Swadish is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the recently renovated resort, a key destination in the lodging chain’s portfolio of 24 hotel and affiliate properties in the Caribbean and Mexico.

Joining the Wyndham Nassau Resort team from the Washington D.C. area, Swadish most recently served as chief operating officer at Highland Hospitality in McLean, VA. Prior to that, Swadish held several hospitality management positions including managing director at La Quinta Resort and PGA West in La Quinta, Calif., a division of Hilton Hotels; regional vice president and general manager with Double Tree Hotels in Pasadena, Calif.; general manager of the Doubletree Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah and food and beverage director for Doubletree Monterey, Calif.

In addition to his experience in the hospitality industry, Swadish has served on numerous boards and associations related to the industry and his surrounding community. Most notably, he served as a board member for the International Institute of Boston, a non-profit organization that assists refugees from around the world settle into new homes. Swadish also developed and led a program to train new citizens working in the hospitality industry for careers in management.
