As Chief Financial Officer for Waterford Hotel Group, Smith is responsible for the financial, accounting, and information technology functions of Waterford Hotel Group and each of the properties that it manages. Smith develops, implements and maintains financial controls and standardized policies that reduce costs and streamline financial communications, as well as operating and capital budgets. He is a key financial link between Waterford Hotel Group, property ownership, managers, and accountants.
Smith joins Waterford Hotel Group with nearly 30 years of in-depth accounting and finance expertise, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administration Officer for Boykin Management Company. Previously, he held numerous positions with Interstate Hotels & Resorts, including Vice President of International Finance and Regional Director of Finance, Vice President and Corporate Controller, and Hotel Controller.
