.Arlene M. O'Malley Appointed Director of Sales and Marketing
for The Magnolia Hotel Houston

            
June 2, 2009 (HOUSTON)—The Magnolia Hotel Houston today announced Arlene M. O’Malley has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the 314-room boutique hotel, located in the heart of downtown Houston.
 
“Arlene O’Malley brings more than 20 years of director-level sales experience in the hospitality industry, and we are delighted to welcome her to The Magnolia Houston,” said John Remmers, general manager. “Arlene’s expertise and strong familiarity with the Houston market will undoubtedly be an asset to The Magnolia. We’re excited for current and prospective clients to meet and work with Arlene.”
 
O’Malley previously served as director of sales and marketing for the Hotel ZaZa in Houston’s Museum District. Her experience also includes serving as director of sales and marketing for The Warwick Hotel in Houston, and in the same role at the Doubletree Hotel at Post Oak, a Hilton property where she served for 13 years. O’Malley also worked in the hospitality industry at the Doubletree Hotel at Intercontinental Airport, the Lincoln Hotel Post Oak in Houston, and the Sheraton Hotel Century Center in Oklahoma City.
