today that Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, Fla. has selected a
comprehensive suite of solutions to streamline operations at the
upscale hotel
and condominium property, which will re-open in December after
extensive
renovations. The resort is implementing solutions for property
management,
point-of-sale, guest marketing and document management.

Cheeca
Lodge & Spa will implement the following solutions from Agilysys:
- Visual One Property Management
System, a comprehensive and fully integrated property management
solution that
offers a wide range of features and functionality, including front
office
operations, guest history, housekeeping, reservations management and
more.
Cheeca Lodge & Spa will use the Visual One Activities module to
schedule
and manage the resort’s amenities and activities; the Visual One Club
Management System to create and monitor memberships in Cheeca Lodge
& Club;
and the Visual One Condo Accounting System to manage the property’s
condominium
rentals. The resort will also implement the Visual One Retail POS
System to
manage the property’s retail outlets; the Visual One Sales &
Catering
module to manage conference and banquet operations; and the Visual One
Spa
Management System to track spa employee work schedules, make spa
appointments
and send e-mail confirmations to spa guests.
- InfoGenesis POS™, an enterprise-ready
point-of-sale solution that combines powerful reporting and
configuration
capabilities with a touch-screen terminal application. The system’s
centralized
database pulls together food and beverage functions, enabling total
management
of dining, bar and room service operations. Features include real-time
reporting capabilities and advanced sorting, filtering and grouping
options.
Cheeca Lodge & Spa also will use the mPOS mobile point-of-sale
solution for
food and beverage service at poolside and at other locations around the
property.
- Guest eMarketing (GeM), a
feature-rich guest correspondence and marketing management solution
that
enables properties to create cost-effective and highly personalized
e-mail
campaigns. Using GeM, Cheeca Lodge & Spa can increase profitability
through
targeted promotional offers, reminders, newsletters and surveys and
obtain data
that leads to improved performance.
- DataMagine™, a comprehensive document
management solution that will enable Cheeca Lodge & Spa to
streamline
recordkeeping and archive business-critical data. The property will use
the
DataMagine Report Archive module to automatically capture, index and
electronically
file application-generated general business form documents and reports;
and the
DataMagine Electronic Registration Card to digitally capture guest
signatures
at check-in.
