TIG Global Wins Big at International Marketing Competition

TIG Global Secures 12 Adrian Awards for Outstanding Website Design and E-marketing


CHEVY CHASE, MD� January 26, 2009 � TIG Global, the leading interactive marketing company for hospitality and travel, received twelve Adrian Awards for excellence in Web Marketing from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI).  The Adrian Awards, one of the most prestigious Internet marketing competitions in the industry, recognizes the top international hospitality and travel websites and interactive marketing campaigns based on overall design, functionality, and statistical performance objectives, such as ROI and conversion rates.  This year�s competition attracted more than 1,300 entries from around the world, with submissions judged by over 200 top executives from all sectors of the hospitality industry.

TIG Global was honored with a Gold Adrian Award for its outstanding integrated marketing campaign efforts for the Casa Marina Resort & Beach Club, an LXR Luxury Resorts and Hotels property.  The online marketing plan consisted of conversion-focused banner ads, customized landing pages, and email marketing campaigns that spoke directly to the Resort�s upscale target audience and highlighted recent renovations, while simultaneously driving highly qualified traffic to its new website.  TIG Global was also recognized with a Silver Adrian Award for its design of the Resort�s website (www.casamarinaresort.com).  Created with vibrant colors and stunning photography, the Casa Marina Resort & Beach Club website effortlessly conveys the Resort�s grandness, engages visitors worldwide and provides a seamless extension of the actual Resort experience.  Since the launch of the new website and enhanced interactive marketing campaign, TIG Global has driven nearly 60,000 monthly visitors to the website and generated a 149% increase in year-over-year direct online revenue for the Casa Marina Resort & Beach Club.

Each of the award-winning websites were created by the TIG Global design team in an effort to maximize conversions and drive incremental direct revenue online with fully-optimized website copy and strong calls to action.  TIG Global also customized the integrated marketing campaigns to meet the unique business needs of each client.  Each of the campaigns consisted of search engine optimization, paid search marketing, strategic linking, and e-mail marketing.

In addition to the six hotel and spa awards, TIG Global received a Silver Adrian Award in the CVB/Destination/Offices of Tourism category for its interactive marketing work with the Myrtle Beach Marketing Cooperative.  TIG Global designed a comprehensive online marketing campaign to support the �Escape to Myrtle Beach� promotion and 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid give-away contest. TIG Global strategically deployed paid search marketing, online media campaigns, and consistent email messaging to capture the Destination�s new, younger target audience and encourage them to sign-up for the promotion. The online marketing campaign collected nearly 25,000 entries in the Myrtle Beach email database, delivered over 700,000 website visitors, and generated over a million click-throughs to the Myrtle Beach Marketing Cooperative�s member websites.
