in Ucluelet, British Columbia

.

UCLUELET, BRITISH COLUMBIA, January 5, 2008 Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia is pleased to announce the promotion of Carly Hall to hotel manager for the new Black Rock Oceanfront Resort set to open its doors in Ucluelet on January 16 this month.

A long-time Tofino resident, Hall brings a wealth of industry experience and an extensive knowledge about the area to her position. A graduate of the prestigious Hotel & Food Administration Co-operative Program at the University of Guelph, Hall started her hospitality career at Tofinos Middle Beach Lodge before moving to spend six years at the Long Beach Lodge Resort where she was most recently general manager for the four- star luxury resort. In July, Hall was hired by Boutique Hotels & Resorts as the director of operations for Black Rock Oceanfront Resort. Hall was offered this new position following the recent promotion of Diane Mombourquette to vice president and chief financial officer for Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia.

During the past six months on site as director of operations, Carlys experience has shown itself in managing the resorts pre-opening operations alongside her team and in partnership with numerous key stakeholders through the final stages of construction, says Mike Duggan, president of Boutique Hotels & Resorts of British Columbia. We look forward to Carly continuing to lead the charge through the opening of Black Rock and beyond.
