Trust International Secures New Contract With Motel One
Chain,
Escorts Budget Niche Leader Into CRS Arena
Frankfurt and Munich September 30, 2008 Trust
International has signed a contract to implement a powerful suite of its
Voyager|CRS central reservation system and Trust|Booker IBE (Internet
booking engine) software for Germanys Motel One, marking the hotel chains
entrance into the international global distribution system (GDS) marketplace.
Motel One currently operates over 3000 guest rooms in 21 properties across Germany, with approximately 1500 additional rooms under construction in five additional properties set to open by 2010. Motel One is highly successful within a booming segment of the hospitality industry, and is known for providing a high-end guest experience and outstanding room quality within the budget niche. We are taking an important step in our brand evolution by strengthening our direct channel, Motel-One.com, and being present in all major Internet channels as well as in the GDSs with a single point of entry through the Voyager|CRS, said Martin Egner, Manager of E-Commerce & Distribution for Motel One. As a budget hotel chain, we obviously focus on our own website Motel-One.com, as well as on direct connects to our key performers in the online distribution world. In this way we will combine state-of-the-art distribution technology and management with reasonable distribution costs. I am sure that Trust International is the right partner to pursue this strategy. The connection to the GDSs will open the chance to gain business from corporate clients who commit to Motel One and who are using the classic travel agencies and GDS channels. Motel One is strategically focused on growing the share of room nights booked on electronic channels, most importantly their own direct-to-hotel bookings via their website, which will be equipped with Trust Internationals powerful internet booking engine, Trust|Booker 2.0. The highly customizable IBE will be embedded on their website, serving as an extension of their online brand messaging that allows guests to experience the special design of Motel One from the first moment they make the booking. With the use of Voyager|CRS and the integrated IBE, Motel One will open its inventory to leisure travelers and business travelers alike, regardless of whether they choose to book via a travel agency, the website or through special corporate access that provides negotiated rates within a secured area. This newly forged relationship will launch in November with implementation of an interface between Motel One´s Property Management System (PMS) and the Voyager|CRS for rate uploading from the PMS into the CRS, connectivity to all of the Internet channels connected to Trust International as well as availability to the four major GDSs. This comprehensive relationship with Trust also will incorporate Trust|Com for highly effective processing of travel agency commissions enabling Motel One to provide automated, prompt and comfortable commission payments and online reporting to the travel agency community. This is a landmark event for Motel One, and we are pleased to facilitate their giant step into the world of GDS with expert guidance and excellent distribution technology, said Graham Bray, Regional VP of Sales Europe, Middle East and Africa, Trust International. Motel One will gain the ability to broaden access to its product and to offer last room availability in real time, essentially turning no one away. We are confident that our technology and partnership will further boost Motel Ones position as an impressive, high quality product at a friendly price in their market segment. About Motel One
